Quantastor on Seagate AP Storage Systems

OSNexus QuantaStor 6 is available on the entire line of Seagate AP systems including the 5U84 AP, 2U24 AP, and 2U12 AP. Each Seagate AP system includes two AMD server blades which may be used for both scale-up and scale-out QuantaStor storage solutions. This delivers unified file, block, and object storage management for on-premise and hybrid cloud deployment. Expand with Seagate Exos® E Disk Chassis (JBODs)

QuantaStor is also integrated with the entire line of Seagate Exos E disk expansion chassis (JBODs/JBOFs) enabling both scale-up and scale-out systems to be easily expanded by adding more AP systems and/or disk chassis to existing systems.

QuantaStor Storage Grids integrate with Seagate CORVAULT®

To address storage challenges in up to 100PB per cluster, QuantaStor’s scale-out erasure coding combined with Seagate’s internal erasure coding provides two layers of erasure coding one in software and one in hardware with Seagate’s ADAPT+ADR to deliver industry leading 9s of up time calculated to be in excess of 14 9s (99.999999999999%). To make management of Seagate CORVAULT units easy at scale, OSNexus has integrated the monitoring and management of Seagate CORVAULT units directly into QuantaStor’s distributed storage grid management control plane.

Seagate Lyve™ Cloud Integrated

In addition to QuantaStor’s integration with Seagate’s storage system hardware, QuantaStor also integrates with Seagate Lyve Cloud to enable backup and tiering of of storage into Seagate’s cloud object storage offering.
